72 Hang Shang Pao. 8.4.14.
Koongmoon. The Kongmoon-Nan Shui (K) ferry boat was
pirated whilst preparing to anchor, The crew were taken
unawares. Arrangements for immediate pursuit were made.
Hua Yen Pao. 8.4.14.
P'an Yu Hsien. Fuel boat pirated recently.
Hua Yon Pao. 14.4.14.
Heung Shan. Infested with brigands. A few days ago more
than 10 were captured and executed by the Water Police.
Yesterday 5 second class war craft were despatched to
assist by request of Chief of Water Police.
Yang CH'eng Pao. 14.4.14.
Kongmoon. Ferry boat plying between Kongmoon and Tou Men (pq) pirated recently. Rirates' fire returned but the
defenders were outnumbered and 1 soldier was killed and
several passengers wounded.

72 Hang Shang Pao. 29.4.14.
Tungkoon. District infested by robbers. 22 villages have
petitioned the military Authorities to exterminate them.
Hua Yen Pao. 30.4.14.
Bast of Delta. Yang Chiang and Yang Ch'un. The Commander in Chief at
Chao Ch'ing has requested the despatch of efficient troops
to these places to put down brigandage.
